Hale Malu Farms was created from a commitment to local food production, poultry knowledge, and the belief that Hawai‘i needs stronger agricultural independence. Our work is centered on building systems that are productive, resilient, and rooted in long-term stewardship. Hale Malu began with a deep focus on poultry, hatchery operations, and the practical needs of island agriculture. Over time, that vision expanded into a broader idea: creating a farm system that can support local production at multiple levels, from chicks and layers to feed supply and integrated agricultural infrastructure. Our mission is to help strengthen local agriculture by developing poultry production, hatchery services, farm support systems, and scalable models that increase food security in Hawai ‘i. We value resilience, local production, practical innovation, good stewardship, and the belief that agriculture should be built to last. Hale Malu is focused on real systems that serve both today’s needs and tomorrow’s opportunities.
