Animal Care Rule

Healthy Birds Come First

Poultry projects should teach responsibility, careful observation, clean housing, daily care, and respect for animals. Hale Malu Farms can help youth understand brooding temperatures, feed transitions, hydration, safe handling, and common early mistakes.

Families should always follow official project rules and seek qualified veterinary or Extension advice when animal health concerns arise.
